Advice to Agents and Customers folllowing Game Group’s administration.

Following the recent announcement that Game Group has gone into administration; if you or any of your customers have ordered Game Vouchers for 2012 we would like to make you aware of the options available to you now:

  • Leave the order for Game Vouchers as it stands for the moment until the ongoing situation becomes clearer. We understand that the administrators of the Game Group are hopeful of getting a buyer for some of the stores, in which case we should be able to supply those vouchers in November. Please be reassured however that we will cancel or change an order for Game Vouchers at any time in the future if you decide to do this.
  • Change the order for Game Vouchers now to any of our other selection of Gift Vouchers or Gift Cards. Several of these retailers supply Gaming Consoles and Games; e.g. Argos and hmv (on the Love2shop Gift Voucher/Gift Card), Amazon, and of course the Supermarkets. Please inform Variety if you wish to do this.
  • Cancel the order for Game Vouchers completely. There will be no charge for cancellations of the Game Voucher. Please inform Variety if you wish to do this.

PLEASE NOTE: If you or any of your customers have unused Game Vouchers that we supplied in previous years we have been advised that these cannot be redeemed at the present time. Therefore, you can either wait until the current administration process brings any further news on how these vouchers can be redeemeed, or alternatively return the Game Vouchers to Variety (with a covering letter) and we will exchange them for the equivalent value of Love2shop Vouchers.

We will keep you updated of any further developments with regard to this situation. In the meantime however, if you have any further queries regarding Game Vouchers then please contact our office.
